Environmental Health & Safety

The Environmental Health and Safety team is comprised of our in-house Certified Industrial Hygienist as well as a full time Safety Specialist.  They provide leadership in the design, implementation, and ongoing performance of the university safety process, which includes facilitation of the University Safety Committee and supporting subcommittees.

Environmental Health and Safety is a resource for issues including traditional safety, hazardous materials and waste, life/fire safety, and emergency preparedness.  The department acts as university representative and liaison when dealing with federal, state and/or local agencies (OSHA, EPA and DEP).
